My story, When I first found your amazing bread I was experiencing such distress in my body due to the gluten and other ingredients found in other breads. When I first tasted your bread I cried tears of joy, no lie, due to finally being able to eat gluten free bread that tastes good. I’ve been a loyal customer for over ten years now since and I am so grateful your business exists. Thank you.

Well I don’t know about how important my story will be with you, but I would like to share that I gave up on finding a bread that tasted good and had texture that I could actually eat. I have a very sensitive stomach that doesn’t tolerate a number of foods. Your millet-flax bread is yeast free and as well as wheat free. I feel normal eating a decent sandwich now. I first discovered your bread at a specialty market, but later they stopped carrying it. I was devastated. I went on line and found you. You later dropped your shipping prices and now I can buy more at a time. I love your Millet flax spinach lavish and with them I make burritos, pizza, and wraps, or cut them in triangles, heat and eat them with hummus. It’s so good. I stay away from oil too and I am grateful to be able to be eat according to my dietary restrictions. Thank you for your consideration of others!

I love Sami’s Bakery! I am a bread (carb) girl, when that is taken away from you later in life due to wheat and gluten intolerance it’s tough. I tried several different breads, they all tasted like eating cardboard or very heavy and dense. Tried making my own also, you will spend far less with Sami’s. I was introduced to Sami’s from my care wellness doctor in Melbourne FL.. I was a snowbird from NY ( not the city) . In the summer months I would have it delivered to NY, still tasted way better than any other. Currently living in NC and still having it delivered to me. I have not had a thing I didn’t like. My hubby that can eat anything also loves it. Can you say Pizza! Their crust is lip smacking. I typically buy the millet and flax seed, but also love the gluten free sourdough bread. Happy Eating

We enjoy many Samis products, and it’s always fun to try new ones. I was excited to try the pumpkin bread, and ordered it right away. Sure enough, we practically ate half the loaf soon after it arrived; toasted and buttered to be sure! So, when around the holidays Samis put the pumpkin bread on a special offer, I began thinking about it. Why not spread the joy! I decided it would make a delightful holiday gift for our neighbors. Our neighborhood has shifted in the last few years. Many of our dear, elderly ones have died, and we have many new, young families. My husband and I are now the “wise ones” in the neighborhood, having lived in our house for 33 years now. We had just enjoyed Halloween so much with all the children who are now around, and that friendly feeling of a recent new phenomenon- a block party- was still very much present in me. The bread seemed like a perfect gift to continue this deepened community feeling. When my bread order arrived in early December, I put the loaves into gift bags with bows. Then my husband and I had so much fun delivering them! We went to ten houses. Most of the families were home, and we had such pleasant chit chats before moving on. The recipients were so happy and surprised at the gift! Very quickly, the positive feedback starting flowing to us- everyone was amazed and delighted with how delicious the bread was! And, a sweet and unexpected post script occurred. Other neighbors started bringing everyone presents as the month went on. The bread was a huge hit! I’m looking forward to making this a lovely yearly ritual.

Because my naturopath doctor advised me to avoid gluten, I tried many of your millet and flax seed options. My daughter is highly gluten sensitive as well as my grandson, so I was pleased to share my goodies with them. Our favorites include pumpkin bread, cinnamon raisin bread and bagels, sourdough bagels and bread and the garlic millet chips. While vacationing in Florida several years ago, we stopped in and bought several favorites right from you. We live in the northeast and usually shop online and have the goodies shipped to us. We think they are so good they’re “one of a kind”. Thanks for the healthy yumminess!!

I have been enjoying Sami’s products for a number of years. I originally purchased form local stores. However, after a number of experiences with hard as a rock breads and bagels, I decided order directly – and avoid careless sales people who keep things in stock no matter how long they have been hidden away. Not always perfect now, but the Sami’s people have been great. Thank you for your wonderful service and your great products. Rick

"Breaking Bread with Friends" My bread of choice is the Millet & Flax Lavash sharing with friends at our table. One year ago I decided to get together with like minded women at least once a month. We decided every three weeks works. We have shared skills such as gardening, sprouting seeds & beans, cooking, canning and valuable health tips. Then we “break bread” sitting around the table. There are seven of us. The youngest is 27 and the oldest, myself, 68, a couple of 60 years old and 3 in their 50’s. One of the things we have in common is the love for learning. Another is preparing and eating healthy foods. So as we share our recipes and enjoy yummy food we have laughed, cried and prayed at the table. Our youngest gal brings her two children. Her youngest was only a few months old when we started. Now Mama sits in a play pen with little girl while we conduct our meeting. Just so cute! She entertains us at the table with stories. Her son, 6, was chatting with her at a park. Mama was instructing him on how to speak kindly to folks. He practiced by saying to her, “I think the hair on your legs is so pretty!” She shared another story about her husband doesn’t comment on how she dresses. So she went to a thrift shop and bought a pair of really tight skinny jeans w/ a very low ride(get the picture?).She modeled for hubby and he said, Honey your body is beautiful and don’t you think it is a good idea to share it only with me?” What a gracious way to comment. One time we had a grandma burst into tears over the situations her grand daughter is experiencing in school. We prayed for her right then. The conversations around the table always involves food. The Lavash has been a big hit. I like to warm it up and eat or make crackers. I place it in the toaster oven at 350 degrees for a few minutes each side until golden. The aroma is just like fresh baked bread. These are great with tuna or chicken salad or with dips. Two ladies in the group now order Lavash with me because they enjoy them so much. Our meeting and “breaking bread” has been special for all of us. Three hours every three weeks. Now celebrating our second year together. A lot more things and skills to learn too!

Our New York family with Florida family ties discovered your Bakery over 20 years ago. We needed a bread that would heal our gut, not harm it, and it had to be preservative free, taste great, and ship to NY. Samis bakery checked all those boxes! Samis opened our world up to breads, lavash, rolls, bagels, and more…we are beyond grateful. Thank you,

It was more than nearly 30 years ago in October of 1994 when my wife Karen and I began dating. At the time I had no idea of all the trauma in her life that had taken place. A loss of a 25 year marriage due to infidelity on her husbands part, a 14 year old daughter Julie’s battle with leukemia which resulted in death, some 9 over the top catastrophic occurrences over a three year period that would have put most women in a state of deep depression or suicide. But God… In September of 1996 we were married and that begins our Sami’s journey. Having endured those trial and tribulations Karen began to have serious digestive issues due in part to the stress that finally had begun to catch up with her. After meeting with a local natural -path doctor it was determined she had both dairy and gluten sensitivities. Thank goodness it was not a celiac issue. Now to find foods that would meet her digestive needs. I remember the times we would head to the grocery store either separately or together and she would actually have tears streaming down her eyes trying so hard to find items that were dairy and gluten free on the shelves, Particular to her need was bakery products i.e. bread, dinner rolls, crouton’s, etc. We scoured every big box store in the area of Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan two former home towns, to discover not one of them had any shelf item’s that actually met that criteria. It was not to far down the road someone Karen had conversed with highly suggested the Sami’s product line that a local health food chain, Harvest Health stocked on a regular basis. Having high hopes but low expectations due to possible ingredient issues, we took a road trip to the one nearest our home in Hudsonville, MI. Finding the product of course we investigated all the labeled ingredients and we over joyed to find that this may just be the ticket. We took a loaf of the millet and flax sour dough and cinnamon bread, along with the millet and flax dinner rolls home for a test run. What a blessing! We have been faithful customers ever since. Although we have moved to Branson, Missouri and have no local source, we are thankful that these products can be shipped directly to our ministry. Where ever we go and discover those with similar dietary issues we highly suggest to them the Sami’s line. What a God send!

Years ago I found out I had serious allergies and my young grandson was allergic to everything but apples. We both ached for some good bread to enjoy a sandwich or toast. Neither of us could have yeast and I could not find any gluten free bread offered in specialty or grocery stores. I finally found Sami’s and ordered bread for myself and for my grandson. When I received the bread and I finally was able to have some toast after having to go without for so long I cried. Thank you Sami’s for bringing hope to my life. I appreciate you more than you know.
